Destination Hotel
Destination hotel located in Asheville, NC for families. Amenities include retail shops, restaurants, and a full-service spa.
My role consisted of retail shops, public areas, and one of the three types of guests rooms, single king guestroom.

Historic Rehabilitation
Our group was tasked to repurpose an auto repair shop into a farmers market while maintaining the historic integrity of the building.
Elements of the project for which I was responsible included:
ADA compliant space planning for vendors, visitors, and guests; selecting finishes that were inspired by the historic exterior; and lastly, the final renderings.

This project challenged my skills to design for both commercial and residential clients. our multi-story building was a multi-use commercial for floors 1 thru 3 and residential for floors 4 and 5.

Active Adult Condominium
Active adult condominium created for a hypothetical family who are empty nesters of two children who visit often. One of the children is an amputee which posed challenges when designing this space.

A kitchen created for a family of 3 and extended family. Created with National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) guidelines in mind and to give the family a safe environment when spending time together in the kitchen while being sustainable and efficient.

Ttobacco barn located in Greenville, NC repurposed into a third place for ECU students and residents of Greenville to relax and study. A third place refers to social surroundings that are separate from the two usual social environments of home and work.
